Sustainable Energy Association announces new CEO.

Chair of the Sustainable Energy Association of Australia (SEA - www.seaaus.com.au), Sean Webb has announced the SEA Board has selected Kirsten Rose as SEA's new Chief Executive.

‘The Board is delighted to have secured the services of such a talented individual with solid commercial skills and who is passionate about sustainability,' says the SEA Chair, Mr Webb.

‘Kirsten is well equipped to further strengthen the role SEA plays in supporting the interests of our Members.'

SEA acknowledges the important financial support provided by each and every SEA Member, and the additional support many also contribute through time and knowledge to assist in policy development and advocacy work.

‘Former SEA CEO and current Board member Professor Ray Wills is one such member who continues to offer his knowledge and skills to SEA through his new firm, Duda&Wills, and who has committed to actively support the new CEO as long as needed as Kirsten takes up the reins,' says Mr Webb.

‘As the commercial interests of both Kirsten and Ray ably demonstrate, any business that supports sustainable energy deployment throughout the Australian economy can strengthen the work of SEA through membership.'

Ms Rose starts as CEO on 16 October 2012.
